POLICE – Every Breath You Take – 1983

Το συγκρότημα των Policeεμφανίστηκε για πρώτη φορά στις 18 Αυγούστου του 1977, στο club Rebecca του Birmingham. Το συγκρότημα αποτελούνταν απο τους Gordon Summer στο μπάσο που άλλαξε το όνομα του σε Sting εξαιτίας ενός μπλουζάκι που φορούσε με κίτρινες και μαύρες ρίγες στις εμφανίσεις τους, τον Andy Summer στην κιθάρα και τον Stewart Copeland στα τύμπανα. Αν και εμφανίστηκαν την περίοδο που το βρετανικό punk είχε την τιμητική του, οι Police κατάφεραν να δώσουν το δικό τους στίγμα στην βρετανική μουσική σκηνή. Το 1983 ύστερα απο μια σειρά πετυχημένων albums και singles κυκλοφόρησαν τον τελευταίο τους δίσκο με τίτλο ‘’Synchronicity’’ . Μέσα σε αυτό τον δίσκο υπήρχε και το τραγούδι Every Breath You Take.

Police made their debut on August 18, 1977, at the Rebecca Club in Birmingham. The band featured Gordon Summer on bass, who changed his name to Sting because of a striped yellow and black T-shirt he used to wear, Andy Summers on guitar and Stewart Copeland on drums completed the line-up. Although they formed during the height of British punk music, the Police managed to leave their mark on the British music scene. In 1983, after a series of successful albums and singles, they released their last album called “Synchronicity” which featured the song Every Breath You Take.
