BON JOVI – Livin’ On A Prayer - 1986

Το συγκρότημα των Bon Jovi ήταν απο τα συγκροτήματα που δημιουργήθηκαν στα Bar-Club του New Jersey την δεκαετία του ’80. Με αρκετές επιρροές απο τους Bruce Springsteen και Southside Johnny, οι Bon Jovi με τον πόπ μέταλ ήχο τους επηρέασαν και αυτοί με την σειρά τους πάρα πολλά συγκροτήματα αργότερα. Το 1986 κυκλοφόρησαν τον δίσκο ‘’Slippery When Wet’’ αλλάζοντας τον ήχο τους σε πιο πόπ παίρνοντας μόνο τα πόπ στοιχεία απο την μουσική του Bruce Springsteenκαι των Van Halen. Τα δύο τραγούδια που ξεχώρισαν απο τον δίσκο ήταν το You Give Love A Bad Name και το Livin’ On A Prayer. Ο δίσκος έχει πουλήσει μέχρι σήμερα μόνο στην Αμερική πάνω απο 13 εκατομμύρια αντίτυπα!

The Bon Jovi Band was one of the bands formed in the New Jersey bar and club scene of the 1980s. With several influences from Bruce Springsteen and Southside Johnny, Bon Jovi went on th influence many later bands with their pop metal sound. In 1986 they released the album “Slippery When Wet” which incorporated the poppier elements of the Bruce Springsteen and Van Halen sound. The two standout songs from the album were You Give Love A Bad Name and Livin ’On A Prayer. The album has sold over 13 million copies in America alone to date!
